Dear Friend,

Last week we had the honour of celebrating the Nobel Peace Prize with our friends and colleagues at Nihon Hidankyo. These incredible individuals reminded the world, once again, that they are not victims, they are survivors and they demand action to end nuclear weapons, forever.

That is what ICAN was set up to do. Next year, we will make the 80th anniversary of these bombings and the start of the nuclear age a top-line issue as we ramp up the pressure on governments to act.

We need your support to make it happen. Will you please donate?

Yes, I'll donate
ICAN campaigners with torches holding a banner
saying Join the Nuclear Weapons Ban Treaty

We are putting plans in motion for a powerful 2025, where we strengthen top-level government resistance to nuclear threats, increase the number of parliamentarians making nuclear disarmament a priority, and mobilise the masses to consistently condemn nuclear weapons.

For 80 years, the world has lived under the shadow of nuclear weapons. A threat so vast, it endangers all life on earth. Eight decades is far too long. It's time to say: no more.

2025 is a pivotal moment, the threats are high, but so is our opportunity to change the conversation and reject nuclear weapons for good. Our momentum is growing—but progress isn’t guaranteed. To ensure success, every contribution counts, can you help?

Make a donation

Your donation powers our campaign to amplify this message to governments, policymakers, and people everywhere. Together, we can remind the world that these big, dumb, clumsy bombs must be eliminated and that it is both necessary and possible to bring about a safer, nuclear-free future.

Thank you for your support,

Annette Willi
