My name is Dan Rayfield and I am thrilled to introduce myself as Oregon’s next Attorney General. As the former Speaker of the Oregon House, I’ve worked with OLCV for years. I know from experience that OLCV is extremely effective at what they do – elect environmental champions, protect Oregon’s natural legacy, and hold our elected officials accountable. 

That’s why I’m writing to you – will you help ensure that OLCV has the resources they need to continue their important work in 2025 and beyond by making a donation today? 

Part of what makes OLCV so effective is their strong grassroots member base – which I’m sure you already know if you are receiving this email. You know all the work you’ve helped OLCV accomplish by making a contribution, taking action, or volunteering your time. It’s comforting to know that I have such an effective group to work together with to protect Oregon’s natural legacy, and I’m sure you feel the same.

The reason I’m writing to you all today is to remind you that OLCV does not exist without your support. OLCV has a strong record of getting the job done. They work hard to elect pro-environment candidates and hold them accountable, but that work begins with you. Will you consider making a gift to OLCV so they can continue to get the job done?

As Oregon’s Attorney General, I’ll work hard over the next four years to defend against attacks from the Trump administration. You can count on me to do that with OLCV’s support, but OLCV can’t do it without you. It’s going to take all of us lifting each other up to get this done, but I know we can.

If you haven’t already used your Oregon Political Tax Credit this year, you can make a free donation of $50 or $100 to the OLCV PAC here. You are eligible for Oregon’s Political Tax Credit if: 

✔ You are an Oregon resident

✔ You will submit an Oregon tax return for 2024

✔ You make less than $75,000 (individual) or $150,000 (couple filing jointly)
