Team, we have a looming government shutdown, and we have Elon Musk to currently blame for it. It's the start of the Elon Musk Presidency.

Earlier today, a bipartisan spending bill — meant to avoid a government shutdown over Christmas — was shot down due to Elon Musk politically pressuring Republicans to abandon the bill or face political retribution. This bill was backed by Republican’s very own Speaker Mike Johnson.

Musk used his platform to spread misinformation about the bill and forced lawmakers to abandon their duty to the American people after we reached a bipartisan agreement.

I’ll be clear: The world’s richest man has just put the livelihoods of government employees and military members at risk right before the holidays.

Republicans have lost complete control of their party and are now being controlled by a billionaire. Our democracy has never been more at risk.

Team, right now Democrats are the only thing standing between Trump and Musk’s fascist regime.

So we must start working to re-secure a Democratic House majority now, because there is too much on the line for us to sit back idly and watch Americans suffer.
