Hi Neighbor,

You may have seen on the news that House Republicans are threatening to shut down the federal government if they can’t pass a bill that funds our government by Friday night.
 
Government shutdowns cause devastation across our country, will make life harder for working families, seniors, veterans, and disaster survivors. It forces servicemembers, law enforcement officers, and first responders to work without pay. And at the peak of the holiday travel season, it degrades airport security and air traffic control.
 
I’m working to stop a government shutdown and focused on keeping important services up and running for families in our community.
 
In the event of a shutdown, my office will remain fully open to serve constituents like you. We are here to help you with any questions or disruption caused by a potential shutdown, as well as any other day-to-day casework issues.
