Friends,

Allowing people to vote by mail increases voter turnout. That's enough of a reason to do it, but now, during this COVID-19 pandemic, it's even more important that Americans are able to cast their ballots safely from home.

But the Trump Administration is doing everything it can to stop states from expanding vote-by-mail access. They claim it will lead to increased voter fraud -- despite there being no evidence to back that up.

Maybe Trump has forgotten that he himself casts his ballot by mail, and members of our Armed Services have been doing it for generations! I myself voted by mail from Iraq in 2004, like so many other deployed Servicemembers.

No matter what lies Trump spreads, I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that all Americans will be able to vote safely in November.
