Jack,

We need you to speak up for wild horses and burros! On January 7th and January 8th, the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board is meeting to discuss the management of our wild herds, and we need your help to stand up for our cherished wild herds ahead of this meeting. Will you submit public comments to the Advisory Board demanding the BLM implement key reforms to ensure the protection of wild horses and burros? [[link removed]]

During this meeting, the Board will discuss the ongoing management of wild horses and burros on public lands, listen to presentations by the BLM and US Forest Service, accept public comments, and make recommendations for the agencies to consider in the coming year. Wild horses and burros cannot advocate for themselves at this meeting, so they need us to speak for them.

Thankfully, the Advisory Board is currently accepting comments from the public, so we have an opportunity to speak out against the BLM’s flawed management approach and demand the Board recommend key reforms, including:

* Halting the cruel and brutal roundup cycle
* Prioritizing wild fertility control and habitat conservation
* Evaluating Non-lethal solutions to reduce holding populations
* Abandoning Cash incentives in the adoption incentive program (AIP)
* Calling for an independent investigation of the BLM’s Adoption & Sale Program
* Implementing Transparency Measures for roundups

Will you join us in speaking up for wild horses and burros at this meeting by sending a letter to the Board right now? [[link removed]]
