Together, we accomplished so much.
Friend –
We write to you full of gratitude and appreciation for the work we've been able to do collectively for civil rights and liberties in Alaska this year.
It's been a busy one: we fought in the courts to defend the civil rights of incarcerated Alaskans and queer and trans-Alaskans. We went to Juneau, where we advocated for better elections, parole reform, and to protect voting rights. We worked with communities to provide information to protect essential civil rights and liberties. We added capacity to meet the moment, and we found joy in the hardness of the work.
None of this would be possible without you. Thank you.
We've outlined our busy and meaningful year of work in our 2024 Annual Report, <[link removed]> and we invite you to take a look. You'll get an inside peek at how our team works and how we plan to hold the line against the coming political changes in 2025. We are ready.
We celebrate the success of the past year and know that we will meet the moments ahead, together.
Sincerely,
ACLU of Alaska
