Tele-Town Hall on a Potential Government Shutdown TONIGHT!

Dear Mr. John xxxxxx,

The federal government is on the verge of a shut-down unless Congress passes the proposed government funding bill. If this bill does not pass, Florida will lose over $10.8 billion of disaster relief. I will not stand for this. Since I have been in office, there has been record-breaking flooding that has destroyed homes, airports and businesses.  

Our counties and our state don’t have the resources to take care of disaster recovery alone. Federal support is so critical to ensure that our community can rebuild and bounce back stronger. To not support this bill would be a betrayal to the people of our district, who entrusted me with this office, and to the state of Florida as a whole.  

That's why I will be hosting a Tele-Town Hall to share information about the potential government shutdown.
