A single Action Update in 2010 lead to a new law stripping incarcerated prisoners like serial child-killer Clifford Olson of OAS and GIS payments. A single Action Update in 2012 stopped a new gold-plated pension for Alberta MLAs. And a single Action Update in 2017 collected 100,000 signatures on a petition opposing an eight-figure payout to Omar Khadr.
