Friend, I’ve never been afraid to speak my mind.

That’s why I was unapologetic about supporting President Biden’s decision to pardon his son, Hunter.

As someone who practiced criminal defense for years before coming to Congress, take it from me: That was a partisan, political prosecution.

I’ve never seen anything like it all my years as an attorney, and any prosecutor acting in good faith would not have pursued the charges.

But ever since President Biden announced his decisions, disingenuous and hypocritical Republicans have been having a meltdown — even though Donald Trump is a convicted criminal who abused the pardon power to give his friends and cronies a get-out-of-jail free card when he was last President.

I’m sick to death of the double standards and fake outrage. That’s why I’m taking a stand — and I’m asking you to join me:
