Hi team,
A few weeks ago, my team sent you our post-election survey. We wanted to understand what people were thinking and feeling, after the November election.
Thank you to everyone who generously shared their thoughts. It is invaluable to us. My team and I have been spending time reading through your responses and learning from what you have to say.
Many of you are disappointed and angry with the results of the election. Several of you expressed fear about what the next four years mean for our future.
I hear you, friends. Beyond your fear and anger, I also heard something else. Energy and determination.
It’s clear that many of you are eager to channel your emotions into action — and I'll be with you every step of the way.
We will need to work together to resist President Trump’s worst impulses and protect the progress we’ve made for Coloradans.
In our survey, we also asked about the issues most important to you. You all named climate change, reproductive freedom, affordable healthcare, immigration reform, and protecting our public lands as top priorities.
These are my top priorities too.
To make progress on these issue and many others, I’m ready to work in good faith at every opportunity and stand our ground whenever necessary.
