John–
I'll get right to it: the outcome of the presidential election presents a
threat to the gun safety movement.
The gun lobby will use the White House and Congress to undo all of the
progress we've made to protect our communities from gun violence so it can
push its extreme guns everywhere agenda forward. The fights that await us
will be harder than ever.
But if any group can successfully go up against the incoming Trump
administration, it's Moms Demand Action and its dedicated, determined, and
badass volunteers.
I know that we'll be able to count on Moms Demand Action to mobilize
across all 50 states and D.C., and they'll never stop working and
organizing to protect our communities from gun violence.
So, this week, you'll hear from a few Moms Demand Action
volunteers—volunteers who have given their all to this movement and are
part of the reason we can have hope in the coming years.
Through their stories, I hope you'll remember why you joined this movement
and that you'll continue to feel inspired to show up every day—today,
tomorrow, and in 2025—to fight for a future free from gun violence.
Stay tuned for more, and thank you for all that you do.

Fighting for gun safety in every single state would be impossible without
our thousands of incredible volunteers. And when we're going toe-to-toe
with the gun lobby, it requires a lot of financial resources, too—that's
why we rely on grassroots donors to keep us going. [ [link removed] ]If you'd like to
