Fellow activist,
Stephanie here. I am NPPEF’s COO and I wanted to introduce myself.
I bring over 20 years of administrative experience to the NPPEF team, 15 of which I served with nonprofits. My past experiences in policy-based nonprofits made me realize that we won’t see policy changes until the people most affected by those policies are involved in the process. That is why I decided to join the NPPEF team – and because of the passion demonstrated by the NPPEF staff for this work.
As chief of staff and now COO, I see myself as a resource for staff on the ground, expanding the electorate. I believe they are the experts in the work we do, and I am proud to be able to provide them with support, including mentorship and coaching, to aid in professional development so we are more effective at reaching the communities we center.
Positive change comes from the ground up when all communities, especially those historically disenfranchised, have a voice in their government, and team NPPEF is working to make that the reality.
But here’s the thing: the support that staff needs is not always covered by grants. That is why we depend on grassroots support to get the job done.
Luckily, through the end of the month, a family foundation in Pittsburgh has pledged to match every dollar we raise up to $25,000. 2025 will be an important year, and we depend on your support to ensure we can sustain our work through next year and beyond. Will you consider donating a matched $25 donation or whatever you can today?
