Senator Elizabeth Warren is petitioning Donald Trump to pass conflict-of-interest rules to ensure Elon Musk doesn’t use his new position as head of the Department of Government Efficiency to add to his already staggering wealth.
Here’s what she said:
“Mr. Musk’s substantial private interests present a massive conflict of interest with the role he has taken on as your ‘unofficial co-president.’”

Trump and his MAGA allies want to turn a blind eye to billionaires with special access and massive conflicts of interest. But we won’t sit back and watch it happen.
That’s why Senator Warren is demanding that Trump ensure Elon Musk follows conflict-of-interest rules.
Because right now, there’s no way to know whether Musk is whispering advice to Trump that’s good for the country… or just good for himself.
So far, Trump has ignored these concerns. He’s more than happy to give billionaires like Musk special treatment while the rest of us get left behind.
