This is an industry that has siphoned off £80 billion to shareholders since privatisation... All while literal human sh*t is pumped into our rivers, seas and lakes.
After years of underinvesment, we know the system urgently needs a shot of money. But how do they expect us to trust an industry which has failed to deliver on its promises? A system which spent 3.6 million hours spewing sewage into our waterways last year, and then lied about it?
