John,
“You have said the actual truth,”
That was Elon Musk’s public response to an alarming antisemitic post that claimed Jewish communities “push the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them.”
He shared this thought to more than 200 million followers on X, and highlighted the post's claim that Jewish communities are bringing “hordes of minorities” into Western countries in order to destabilize them. This is known as the “Great Replacement Theory,” and it’s a dangerous antisemitic conspiracy theory. Musk is spreading it widely on X and creating a breeding ground for hatred.
Progressive watchdog “Media Matters” has found that major companies’ ads are being shown on X alongside neo-Nazi hate speech. This prompted major companies to leave X, including Apple, Disney, IBM, NBCUniversal, Paramount, Warner Brothers, and The Discovery Channel. But some major corporations are still advertising on X.
We are calling on the NFL, The Washington Post, and Walmart to immediately discontinue advertising on X. Sign on now to demand these companies take action and STOP platforming hate.
Under the guise of “free speech,” Musk has reinstated X accounts previously banned for harassment, ended the verification process, and promoted racist accounts. Every corporation must stop funding X and enabling Elon Musk’s spread of lies, bigotry and hate.
Thank you for taking action with us,
Democratic Values
