Last cycle, I proved that a bold progressive can flip a longtime Republican seat. Our next opportunity to do this is the July 14th runoff election in Texas' 24th District.

Candace Valenzuela grew up in a military family that struggled financially and was homeless for a time. She went on to become an educator, and then was the first Latina and African-American woman elected to her local school board. Now, she's ready to fight for our progressive values in Congress.

It’s not enough that Democrats control the House. Candace will be an unwavering defender of working families and a strong ally in our shared fight to hold corporations accountable, improve public schools, and expand family leave. She is also endorsed by my good friends at the PCCC and my mentor Elizabeth Warren!
