Davis has out-raised us this entire cycle, pulling in nearly $1 million per quarter.
To keep pace, we would need to raise $10,989 every day this quarter. But the truth of the matter is, we need to raise more than that to close Wendy's half-a-million dollar gap.
Here's the bottom line—we need 38 new donors by midnight tonight.
Wendy Davis is doubling down on left-wing extremism.
One of the leading radical liberals in America, Elizabeth Warren, just endorsed her campaign.
As a reminder, Wendy Davis became a national Democrat champion by filibustering for 13 hours in defense of late-term abortion. Now Warren is rewarding Davis's extremism by endorsing her campaign -- of course abortion is the first issue the Senator mentioned.
The radical left is clearly excited about their favorite abortion champion, so money is flowing into Davis's campaign.
Unfortunately, we have a MAJOR GAP to overcome in this race against our far-left opponent.
We completely paused our fundraising in March to address the coronavirus crisis, but Wendy Davis kept raising money and crassly attacking us every few days. So she took a $500,000 cash on lead. Now we need your help to catch up.
She has raised nearly $1 million in all three quarters of the race, which means we'd have to raise $10,989 every day this quarter -- just to keep up! But we actually need to raise more than that to close the gap. Please chip in what you can now.
The reality is that Wendy Davis raised around $40 MILLION in her previous campaigns (for governor and state senate) because she's a national abortion celebrity. Money is pouring into this race too and her Elizabeth Warren endorsement will turbo charge that fundraising even more.
On the other hand, I went to Congress 18 months ago and fought for conservative principles. I've stood shoulder to shoulder with Ted Cruz, Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows and others to help President Trump secure the border and support other critical issues.
I took on the Washington Swamp and the Establishment. But that's really ticked off a lot of folks in DC.
So we don't have Big Money in our corner, which is exactly why we need patriots like you. If "We the People" rise up, we will defeat the Warren-Davis radical left and hold TX-21 -- that's how we can DEFEAT PELOSI in November and make sure TRUMP wins Texas.
