Meet Amara, a dedicated member of the senior services team at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Thanks to LA County's Food Equity Grant, funded by the American Rescue Plan, the LGBT Center's Pride Pantry is helping seniors in need by providing access to healthy foods, effectively combating food insecurity among the senior community. Free Rides with Metro's Life Program

Ready to go more places with Metro? Qualifying LA County residents can enjoy 20 free rides every month on Metro or a discounted pass on another participating transit agency through Metro's LIFE program now.

If you're currently enrolled in programs like CalFresh, EBT, Medi-Cal, Social Security, or TANF, you qualify! LA County residents meeting household income limits are also eligible. Start with 90 days of unlimited free rides and continue with 20 free rides every month. It’s easy to apply online or in person—just bring proof of enrollment or income.
