Thanks to incessant Republican obstruction, we’re days away from a government shutdown. Why are they threatening yet another shutdown?

A government shutdown would be a disaster for the American people. Seniors would worry about getting their Social Security checks. Military families wouldn’t receive their benefits. In Virginia, we’d feel the impact even more because of the high concentration of military and government workers we have here.

Not to mention the many Virginians that are still recovering from Hurricane Helene. Hundreds of businesses have been approved for small business loans after this disaster. You’re telling me Republicans are going to allow that money to run out when they need it most?

Ridiculous.
