Dear Friend of the Wilson Center:
2024 was an unprecedented year in so many ways… it was the “Year of Elections” with half of the world’s democracies going to the polls. There were, very tragically, wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, and record levels of human displacement touching nearly every corner of the globe. Thanks to the support of friends like you, our unrivaled team of experts was able to rise to the challenge with our unique blend of independent research and scholarship-driven analysis.
More people are turning to the Wilson Center than ever before. From the many events we’ve hosted to our written reports, from the briefings we’ve provided to both congress and the administration to our online and video products, we’ve helped to shape how policymakers think of world events—and that simply wouldn’t have been possible without the generous contributions that you’ve made to our work.
But 2025 will bring a new set of challenges—and opportunities—and we hope you’ll help us rise to the moment once again by making a contribution in support of our work [[link removed]] .
The world needs the Wilson Center more than ever. We are:
* Respected for our unique role in helping to inform sound US foreign policy.
* Driven by scholarship and fiercely nonpartisan.
* Lauded for our unparalleled network of experts made up of program teams and more than 4,000 fellows, scholars, and alumni.
* Turned to every day through our blogs, podcasts, high-level events, Hill briefings, and scholarly publications that deliver trusted, actionable analysis.
* Determined to deliver the insight and analysis that can inform decision-making and help to make sense of the uncertainties and complexities in world events.
All of this is only possible because of your generosity and support. [[link removed]]
As a new administration and congress enter office, we will go to work in providing expert analysis on the issues they’re facing and on the opportunities they can seize.
On behalf of everyone at the Wilson Center, thank you for your consideration. We appreciate you, our community, more than ever.
Warm Regards,
