Hi John,
Just one week after Vote From Home 2020 launched, Michigan’s Secretary of State announced they will send absentee ballot applications to every voter!
We want election officials across the country to take these steps, and we’ll continue advocating for progress so Americans can vote safely in the general election.
Sign our card thanking Michigan’s Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, who took a major step to expand access to vote-by-mail.
Trump is already out threatening Secretary Benson for her work to protect the voters of Michigan, tweeting that he will withhold federal money because she’s making the election safer and more accessible. Trump doesn’t care about protecting our democracy or our health, all he cares about is himself and suppressing the votes of people likely to vote against him.
We are standing up to Trump and standing with elected officials like Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson. Sign our card today to thank her for protecting Michigan voters and taking a stand against Trump’s efforts to use COVID-19 to suppress the vote.
November may seem like it’s far away, but not if we’re talking about pivoting to vote-by-mail. We’re encouraging other state election officials to mobilize now to expand access so voters are prepared for the general election.
This is a great sign for Michigan. Add your name to thank Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson for expanding access to vote-by-mail for the general election.
Let’s keep fighting for progress in more swing states!
Thanks,
Vote From Home 2020
