Following a series of lifechanging events, including a
new baby and a new home, Gerry began experiencing
symptoms her doctors couldn't explain. Several months,
countless appointments, and two trips to the ER later,
she finally got an answer: Gerry had pulmonary
arterial hypertension (PAH).
Gerry's diagnosis changed her life. PAH is rare, so the
first challenge was finding a specialist who could treat it.
She subsequently underwent two heart surgeries and
is now being treated with a 24/7 pump medication
and a combination of other drugs.
