Good Morning!
Today, the Washington Times printed the
below article about the FL-13 race and highlighted Amanda Makki’s
clear Frontrunner status with not only dollars raised, but also with
over 20 current local Pinellas County leaders and National GOP
leaders’ endorsements in this opinion piece:
Ms. Makki became the frontrunner in the 13th
District primary after filing to run in June, scooping up $740,000 in
contributions, far more than the other contenders. She has also racked
far more endorsements than the others in the Aug. 18 GOP
primary.
“Amanda’s life is the story of the American dream, and her
commitment to our conservative principles, passion to serve and
willingness to fight for what is right are exactly what the people of
South Pinellas County are looking for in their next congressman,”
said House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy,
California Republican.
Added Whip Steve Scalise, Louisiana Republican: “Amanda’s grit
and determination are exactly what we need to keep fighting against
the radical, socialist agenda pushed by House Democrats. The constituents of
this district deserve better than a Democrat who doesn’t represent
their values — they deserve Amanda Makki.”
