Dear John,

Have you heard about NC League of Conservation Voters Foundation’s three programs and their impacts?

Power the Vote, Power Up and Power the Boards?

Our Power the Vote program, which is one of the largest voter registration programs in NC, made record numbers this year by expanding into more rural and underrepresented areas. We have now registered over 136,000 North Carolinians in the past 10 years!

Our Power Up program has been able to move communities to take action and be a part of the democratic process – to fight against harms caused by climate change. This year we were able to push Fayetteville's City Councils to add $10M to the city budget to fix flooding in overburdened neighborhoods.

Our Power the Boards program helps community members and leaders join boards and commissions and develop civic leadership skills by holding monthly trainings, pairing fellows with mentors for one-on-one coaching, and providing hands-on experience with parliamentary procedure and decision-making processes. 90% of this year's fellows have been accepted on to a board or commission, with some stepping into leadership positions on their local City Council.

What NCLCVF has learned is that this is a multi-pronged fight and we have to have people in all parts of it. With your past donations we were able to build community led power that led to huge wins –and we can't stop now.

We need your help to continue this fight in 2025. You can help us make a huge impact on the climate and on people.
