BREAKING: Thanks to your action, the House Ethics Committee has voted to release the results of its investigation into Matt Gaetz – meaning we will finally learn the truth about his alleged misuse of campaign funds, illicit drug use, and sexual misconduct. [1]
This is a major win for transparency and accountability that wouldn’t have been possible without you, John.
Together, we gathered over 110,000 petition signatures opposing Gaetz’s nomination and demanding the release of the investigation results – building public pressure and making it clear that his extreme, anti-democracy record has no place in the Department of Justice.
That’s because we knew what was at stake: in Matt Gaetz, President-elect Trump found an Attorney General nominee who was prepared to take his radical anti-voter agenda to another level.
With your help, we decisively rejected this extreme nomination and lobbied for the truth to be revealed. And now, the Ethics Committee is planning to release the full report of its investigation into Matt Gaetz after the House has finished voting for the year.
