Dear friend,
As we look ahead to 2025, I want to invite you to join us in the mission, ministry, and adventure of communion we're called to at The Living Church. Would you do that with a donation today?
In 2025, we'll report and reflect on:
- The selection of a new Archbishop of Canterbury and his or her priorities for the Anglican Communion, as well as discussions around the important revisions to the Communion’s structure.
- Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe’s leadership. We'll cover Executive Council meetings and important discussions about strategic redirection of church mission.
- Donald Trump's second term. We'll track how the new administration’s priorities affect Episcopal Migration Ministries and the ways in which church leaders respond to dynamic upheavals in the Middle East and elsewhere.
In 2025 we'll also continue expanding:
- Coverage of global Communion news, thanks to a generous grant from Trinity Wall Street. We are recruiting new correspondents in Southern Africa, East Asia, and the Indian Subcontinent to bring new stories of leadership, pastoral care, justice, and evangelism.
- Church Life features, including in-depth pieces on diocesan assessments, immigration law threatening clergy from abroad, growing congregations, and nuts and bolts pieces about liturgy, leadership, Christian education, and church music.
All this growth is precisely because of God's goodness and your generosity. Please consider a gift to The Living Church before the end of the year.
If you would like to consider other giving options, such as life insurance or stock, please contact me at [email protected].
Warmly,
|
