For as long as he can remember, Ahmed* followed the majority religion of his culture. He also supported the terrorist group that occupies his neighborhood and many others in his country.

But after his teenage son was injured in a car crash — and experienced brain damage — everything changed. The doctors told Ahmed his son would likely never wake up from the coma or recover from his injuries. Ahmed was devastated.
