Dear Reader,
Welcome to the 12 Days of Ballotpedia! We're excited for you to join us as we highlight different aspects of our work, sharing how we bring unbiased factual information to voters across the country.
Every day, we’ll highlight different aspects of our work, illustrating how we bring unbiased and factual information to voters across the nation. We hope you’ll consider a special gift of $50, $250, $500, $1,000, or even $2,025 to help us reach even further in 2025!
On the First Day of Ballotpedia, we celebrate where it all began: ballot initiatives! Since 2007, we’ve tracked ballot measures to help voters understand what’s on their ballots—from local propositions to state-wide initiatives. We’ve maintained a thorough record of state, territorial, and local ballot measures, all aimed at helping voters make informed choices.
This year, we compiled and launched our first-ever Ballot Measures Fact Book, covering Texas’s rich history of nearly 200 years of direct democracy. It’s the first in a series, and with your support, we’ll bring this comprehensive resource to all 50 states, documenting the evolution of ballot initiatives and their impact on civic life.
Ballotpedia also produces an original newsletter, State Ballot Measures Monthly. This monthly series tracks the certification of ballot measures and relevant news, summarizing measures certified in each month's report.
Your support today helps us continue illuminating these critical elements of democracy!
Sincerely,
Andrew Heath
Director of External Relations
