People's Alliance
hosted a City Bond virtual forum. PA staff determined who within the
City staff could be available and finds a time for them to be present.
City Council members attended.The Forum was recorded, posted on YouTube
and sent out to PA members and the Community.
The PA PAC hosted a virtual endorsement meeting in September of
2024. The PA membership
voted to support passage of the Bond during the Fall election. The C4
board voted to support passage of the bond.
C4 staff and PA members
canvassed and spread the word about supporting the Bond in
collaboration with Bike Durham and elected officials. PA was one of
the few groups in Durham promoting the bond at the doors and at events
like Pride. 75% of Durham voted in approval of the Bonds!
