As we’re not physically going to festivals or garden parties this summer, we thought we'd host a 'Green Festival at Home' online, which Caroline Lucas has kindly kicked off with this video.

Community has always been important, and it’s been incredible to see new networks springing up in response to coronavirus. Neighbours and friends keeping an eye on one another, lending a helping hand when it’s needed and discovering the value of a few friendly words over a Zoom chat or in a WhatsApp group.

This realisation of community is happening up and down the country, where previously half of us described our neighbours as strangers.

So why not join us to see how we are coming together to make sure that nobody is left alone in isolation. We look forward to seeing you at our first DIGITAL BBQ.
