This year, mainstream media turned its spotlight on Project 2025, widely considered “the conservative blueprint” for the next Trump administration.

Knowing who the players are, who's pulling their strings, and what they're after is the key to effective resistance. 

This year alone, CMD revealed how:

• The Heritage Foundation has weaponized state superintendents to ramp up culture war divides, move education policy to the Right, and promote the privatization of schools.

• Project 2025 would supercharge the Right’s attempt to trigger a disastrous Constitutional Convention, and analyzed the impact an implementation of Project 2025 would have on DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) policies and protections.

• As part of its national campaign to purge voter rolls, the Public Interest Legal Foundation, which serves on the advisory board for Project 2025, filed lawsuits in Wisconsin and at least eight other states demanding greater access to state voter registration information.

• Project 2025 authors are part of a movement of “pro-labor” conservatives trying to siphon working-class voters away from progressive policies and erode the American legacy of coupling workplace justice with progressive politics.

Without a doubt, these groups will try to undermine climate science, decimate organized labor, restrict voting rights, obliterate reproductive freedoms, and rollback the federal regulatory powers needed to reign in corporate greed, protect consumers and our civil rights, and make sure we have clean air to breathe and clean water to drink.
