Bob Pecoraro
Colonel Bob Pecoraro (ret.) is running for the 140th District of the State Assembly because WNY needs leadership it can count on. As a Colonel in the Air Force, and now serving as Alderman-at-Large in North Tonawanda - Bob Pecoraro is mission ready to fight for us.
Colonel Pecoraro has devoted thirty years of his life to serving the United States Air Force. During his military career, Colonel Pecoraro served in Grenada, El Salvador, South Korea, and the Persian Gulf where he was in charge of executing key missions to protect our freedom and national security. Because of his exemplary leadership, Colonel Pecoraro was awarded 11 decorations, including the Bronze Star Medal for developing the logistics air plan that defeated the Iraqi Republican Guard in Operation Desert Storm. Colonel Pecoraro was also awarded the Aerial Achievement Medal for his 100% Mission Success Rate in Operation Southern Watch to uphold sanctions against Saddam Hussein’s Regime. The highest award presented to Colonel Pecoraro was the Legion of Merit twice for his “exceptionally meritorious conduct and outstanding services and achievements.”
