As this Congress winds down, we’ve made historic investments in Colorado. But I won’t lie, it hasn’t been easy. Washington hasn’t exactly been the most functional place, but we’re proud of the work we’ve done despite extreme MAGA Republicans. Here’s some of our top accomplishments this year: We helped reduce costs for seniors and finally empowered Medicare to negotiate prices for certain prescription drugs, putting more money back in Coloradans’ pockets. We introduced the Water Project Navigators Act, the CONVEY Act, the Colorado River Basin System Conservation Extension Act, and the Mount Blue Sky Wilderness Act to advance environmental protections across the country. Thanks to our Bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act, we secured a regional technology hub for Colorado to lead the way in quantum computing, and a $75 million investment to bring manufacturing back to our state. We are investing in Colorado's infrastructure. That’s more than $52 million to modernize Colorado’s public bus systems. Our rural airports received $10 million for critical upgrades, adding to the $400 million already delivered from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to airports across the state! We invested $826 million to help connect every home to affordable, high-speed internet, ensuring no one is left behind in the digital age.
