For more than fifty years, Medicare and Medicaid have been a staple of American healthcare for seniors, children, people with disabilities, and many other vulnerable patients. But now, Congress is considering end-of-year funding proposals that could include cuts to Medicare and Medicaid funding, which would threaten access to 24/7 hospital care, especially for our most vulnerable populations.
