** EJI Unveils John Lewis Statue in Montgomery Legacy Plaza

Last month, EJI unveiled a statue of civil rights champion John Lewis in Montgomery, Alabama—the first life-sized sculpture of Congressman Lewis in his home state. The sculpture is located in EJI's Legacy Plaza, a space that honors the courageous resistance to segregation that inspired a national movement for civil rights, justice, and equality that continues today.

** EJI Expands Anti-Hunger Work with Mobile Grocery Program
------------------------------------------------------------
EJI's hunger relief program has assisted over 5,000 Alabama families by providing preloaded grocery cards. In October 2024, EJI extended this initiative with a refrigerated grocery van that travels to communities statewide, offering affordable high-quality meat, vegetables, and fruit directly to program participants and other families.
