It evolved over the years, and today, contributions from NYC residents up to $250 are matched 8 to 1 by the City. That means… Donate $1 to Brad and make a $9 impact. See how quickly it multiplies? John, NYC has one of the strongest matching funds programs in the country. It allows people-powered campaigns like Brad’s to be competitive with candidates funded by the special interests (or illegal campaign contributions from foreign governments). And it’s serious money.
