Extremists in Congress, emboldened by President-Elect Trump’s election, have gotten one step closer to banning coverage for gender-affirming care for transgender youth whose parents are active-duty military personnel. The U.S. House of Representatives just voted for a defense bill that includes this measure that is intended to strip necessary, even lifesaving, healthcare from hundreds of young people, putting Members of Congress in between servicemembers, their children, and their doctors. Thankfully, your representative voted NO - thank them for standing with military families’ trans children!
This proposed health care ban - aimed at the children of servicemembers - is a dangerous and discriminatory attack on the wellbeing of military families. It is shameful that anti-trans extremists in Congress are attempting to score political points in this manner.
No service member should ever be forced to choose between their career and the health and wellbeing of their children. Your representative needs to hear from you – email them NOW to thank them for voting NO on a bill that attacks military families’ transgender children.

Those who serve in the military are entrusted with the responsibility of protecting our nation. Ensuring that the health care needs of our servicemembers and their families are being met is essential to honor their service.
