John,
Scam PACs are political organizations that exist to steal money rather than support a cause or candidate. The money they raise goes solely to “consultants” or the founder of the Scam PAC, rather than real causes, and it’s a shameful way to make a quick buck.
That brings us to Harrison Butker, the football player who made news earlier this year, when during a graduation speech, he said women graduates were probably more excited about marriage and children than they were careers.
After his comments went viral, he started a PAC dedicated to supporting conservative candidates. But that PAC…. didn’t actually support candidates. ⬇️
Scam PACs are a problem on both sides of the aisle, which is why Katie Porter has introduced legislation to crack down on them.
Truth to Power is the anti-scam PAC. We’re grassroots powered, and in just the past nine months, Truth to Power has given over $100,000 to Democratic candidates directly and raised over $200,000 directly for campaigns and organizations.
With Trump’s administration starting in January, we’re laser focused on laying the groundwork to help our endorsed candidates win in 2026—because early support makes the biggest difference.
Thank you so much for your support,
Team Truth to Power
