Hi John,
As the year draws to a close, we wanted to take some time to highlight our 2024 accomplishments to keep us motivated and our heads held high as we gear up for 2025. With your help, we:
✅ Supported successful ballot initiatives that enshrined reproductive freedom and marriage equality as constitutional rights here in Colorado, and defeated $19M of special interest money to protect our elections from becoming a pay-to-play game for the wealthy.
✅ Helped Democrats hold their majorities on both sides of the Colorado State Legislature and on the CU Board of Regents.
✅ Thirty of our counties moved left, including in GOP strongholds, making Colorado a bright spot in the nation once again.
✅ Through our work on The 546 Project in CD3, we chased away Lauren Boebert and activated thousands of Democratic voters in western and southern Colorado.
✅ The Horizon Project, our historic year-round deep-canvassing effort in CD8, where we improved turnout among our target voters by 15 percent, helping to revitalize grassroots organizing in this critical battleground district.
✅ Launched The Colorado County Comeback, investing nearly $50,000 in more than a dozen county Democratic parties and supporting their efforts to engage with voters locally.
✅ Embarked on the Bright Blue Summer Tour 2024, where our team visited and engaged with Democrats in every corner of our state in dozens of counties, including many communities that often don’t receive enough attention or haven’t had a visit from the State Party in decades.
✅ Hosted our first-ever DemFest, DemWest, and DemZest in Denver, Grand Junction, and Pueblo, bringing local candidates, elected officials, unions, advocacy groups, and community members together to celebrate, collaborate, and engage with one another.
✅ Partnered with the Democratic National Committee on The Colorado Greenwave project, helping turn out young voters with unprecedented investments in digital media and engaging voters on rural college campuses by placing staff in universities in Greeley and Grand Junction.
✅ Thanks to supporters like you, we had an incredibly successful year of fundraising, which went straight into paying our dedicated and hard-working staff, investing in our various initiatives, and the work we are doing to make Colorado a bright blue island that Democrats nationwide can look to as an example of success.
Despite our success, we are clear-eyed that we are not entering 2025 as we had hoped and worked so hard for with a Democratic president and majorities in the House and Senate.
We have challenging conversations and a lot of hard work ahead, but Colorado has shown the way. Our success in 2024 can help guide us forward, and we’re ready to double down on the path ahead.
John, we are going to need you by our side every step of the way moving forward. If you’re ready to help us lay the foundation for success in 2025 and 2026, support us today >> [[link removed]]
