John,

As the NDRC’s Mobilization Director, I see the daily impact that grassroots donations make on our organization’s ability to fight for a fairer democracy.

Thanks to your support in 2024, we were able to help pro-democracy leaders win races across the country — in places like the North Carolina State Supreme Court, the Wisconsin State Senate, the Michigan State Supreme Court, the Georgia State House, and the Pennsylvania State Senate.

But our work did not end on Election Day. We have a lot to do in 2025 and the years ahead. And with an incoming Trump administration and Republican control of Congress, the stakes are immense.

As we plan budgets for our 2025 programs, we need to know what type of financial support we can plan on from our grassroots donors. The best way to help us build a budget and have the most impact is to commit to a recurring monthly donation. [[link removed]]

With a monthly donation, you’re helping us better plan for our work ahead. With a monthly donation, you’re helping us work smarter.

The NDRC and our affiliates have a strategic plan for political and electoral engagement throughout the decade, to build and shift power so that the right people are in the right places in advance of the next redistricting cycle.

Just this next year, we have opportunities such as state house elections in Virginia, a state supreme court seat up in Wisconsin, and three state supreme court seats up in Pennsylvania.

And as we inch towards the 2030 Census, we need to grow our community of pro-democracy, fair maps supporters so we have meaningful impact when we mobilize towards fair redistricting.

Together, we’ll ensure states with independent redistricting commissions run full and transparent processes that result in fair maps, call out elected officials who are working to draw bad maps, build and participate in a strong coalition that exemplifies fair map-drawing practices, and support legislation to support fair maps.

We can do this. We can protect fair maps and combat ongoing gerrymandering. We have a smart plan, the right team, and a truly remarkable community of supporters all across the country — but we need to know what kind of financial support we can count on next year.

Please commit to a monthly donation to the NDRC so we can on the democracy-saving work. [[link removed]]

Thank you so much,

Brianna
