John,
I’ve been honored to fight for Palestinian human rights alongside New York State Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani, including joining him last November as he led a hunger strike for a permanent ceasefire in front of the White House.
Zohran is a champion in the interconnected struggle to save lives at home and abroad. Now he’s running for New York City mayor, an office that represents more people than most senators do.
As is the case across the country, more than half of all families in New York City are struggling or unable to cover basic expenses—with rent and childcare as the two biggest costs. So Zohran is proposing bold changes like starting city-owned grocery stores that operate without a profit motive, to provide city residents with much more affordable groceries.
Zohran’s transformative agenda includes free buses, a rent freeze for over 2 million New Yorkers, and universal childcare for residents. Unlike many elected officials, Zohran understands how urgently people need change. He’s working toward a city and a world where everyone can live a dignified life, regardless of background, identity, or zip code.
Will you split a donation today between my and Zohran Mamdani’s campaigns to save lives at home and abroad?
As a state legislator, Zohran introduced the Not On Our Dime Act to stop New York’s charities from funding Israeli settler violence. Instead of investing in violence, Zohran has won investments in public transportation and much-needed debt relief for workers.
Zohran and I also recognize the vital importance of unions in the fight for workers’ rights. While endorsing Zohran for New York City mayor, the United Auto Workers Region 9 said: “Zohran Mamdani is a movement builder. He lives UAW values in the fight for economic and social justice, both here in NYC and around the globe.”
We especially need pro-worker leaders like Zohran as we approach Trump’s second presidential term. Unlike NYC’s current pro-Trump mayor, Zohran made clear: “With a billionaire scab returning to the White House, our city must become a model for addressing the material needs of working people.” This is exactly the leadership we need at all levels of government.
Not only is he a champion for workers, Zohran would also be the city’s first Muslim mayor. He recognizes the value of all life, regardless of background—which is vital in this time of growing dehumanization.
Please split a donation today between my and Zohran’s bold campaigns to invest in life rather than corporate profits or genocide. Together we can win transformative changes that help everyday families not only survive, but thrive.

John,
I’m proud to protest for human rights alongside fellow democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani. As a New York State Assemblymember, Zohran introduced first-in-the-nation legislation to stop NY charities from funding Israeli war crimes, and last November he led a hunger strike in front of the White House demanding a permanent ceasefire.
Now Zohran is running for mayor of New York City, with a bold vision including fast and free buses, freezing rent for more than two million rent stabilized tenants, and universal free childcare for every young resident.
Zohran and I are both committed to helping working families thrive, including pushing back against corporate grocery stores’ price gouging. He recently proposed a plan to start nonprofit city-owned grocery stores that sell groceries at much more affordable prices, saying: “The job of city government isn’t to tinker around the edges while one in four children across our city go hungry.”
That’s the kind of energy we need at all levels of government, and because the mayor of NYC represents more people than the vast majority of U.S. senators do, this position plays a huge role in national politics. Zohran has already started a door-to-door canvassing operation in preparation for the June 2025 Democratic primary election. He doesn’t take any money from corporate PACs and needs grassroots donations to help show strong early support for his visionary campaign.
Please split a donation today between my and Zohran Mamdani’s campaigns to save lives at home and abroad—before his next big fundraising deadline in early January.
Note: People can donate up to $2,100 to Zohran’s campaign, and if you’re a New York City resident, the first $250 of your donation to Zohran will be matched 8 times thanks to the city’s public campaign finance program.
Throughout his career Zohran has fought for the working class, including hunger striking alongside taxi drivers to achieve more than $450 million in transformative debt relief, winning over $100 million in the state budget for increased subway service and a successful fare-free bus pilot, and organizing New Yorkers to defeat a proposed dirty power plant.
As Zohran said, “This campaign is for every person who believes in the dignity of their neighbors and that the government's job is to actually make our lives better.” We deserve a government that works for the people, not just billionaires.
Meanwhile, NYC’s current mayor has praised Trump, sent police to attack pro-Palestine student protesters, and will face a trial in the spring after being indicted for corruption. And a potential NYC mayoral candidate is currently working with Trump’s lawyer to defend Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu from the International Criminal Court’s charges of war crimes. In response to this news, Zohran said: “We need a mayor focused on the cost of living crisis, not defending a genocide.”
In this time when dehumanization endangers our communities and lawmakers are trying to criminalize protesters for exercising their First Amendment rights, we need more elected leaders who will stand up for our rights and see everyone as worthy of life and of dignity.
Please split a donation today between my and Zohran’s bold campaigns for transformative changes to help everyday families not only survive, but thrive.
