Since we won our race in NY-19 last month, a lot of people have been asking us how we did it.

It’s simple – we ran a campaign focused on the people in NY-19 and what actually matters to them, not just political talking points.

Over the past few years, we’ve talked to thousands of voters. From knocking on doors to calling folks to meeting them at town halls and events, our campaign was centered around Upstate New Yorkers, the issues affecting them, and what leaders in Washington can do to help.

While I can’t speak for other campaigns, I know we accomplished something important together in NY-19, and it’s because of the work that each and every one of us did here.
