John,

The fight against gun violence is far from over. The work of North Carolinians Against Gun Violence (NCGV) relies on the generosity and dedication of individuals like you. Your year-end donation today will empower us to sustain and expand our efforts in 2025, ensuring a safer future for all North Carolinians.

Our supporters are the driving force behind our success. As we approach the end of 2024, we wanted to share how your support has made an impact to prevent gun violence through our work and across the state.
- Advocated and helped secure $4 million in federal funding for rural CVI programs and technical assistance for programs across our state, as well as more than $500,000 from other funding sources.
- Partnered with local groups such as Gate City Coalition in Greensboro to save their funding, helping them secure $250,000 in local commitments from the County to continue their community-based CVI program.
- Hosted our first Survivor Advocacy Day at the General Assembly, training and engaging survivors of gun violence from across the state as advocates for lifesaving measures, ensuring our work is equity-based and survivor-led.

These victories reinforce the importance of our collective efforts in shaping responsible gun policies. But to continue making strides in preventing gun-related deaths, we urgently need your support.
Give Today To Invest in Community Safety Efforts in 2025 [[link removed]]

Our advocacy at the General Assembly and in support of campaigns across the state is led by North Carolinians Against Gun Violence Action Fund (NCGV Action). Contributions to NCGV Action allow us to invest our time in grassroots and direct lobbying to prevent gun violence.

In 2024, NCGV Action Fund doubled the amount of volunteer engagement compared to our 2022 campaign efforts; made more than 8,000 phone calls; and canvassed in person for the first time, knocking on more than 1,600 doors in two counties to help elect Governor-elect Josh Stein, Superintendent of Public Instruction-elect Mo Green, and returning State Senator Lisa Grafstein.

Yours in this fight together,
Becky and Sara
