We have urgent updates from the crisis in Gaza.
This Giving Season, will you deliver the gift of lifesaving care to women and girls living through the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and in crises around the world?
"I was not ready for childbirth. We are very tired," Jawaher told us. She fled fighting in North Gaza and was in labor for two days while looking for shelter before finally reaching a hospital to give birth.
"We have no mattress, no food, no clothes—nothing. We fled the airstrikes as we were," said Adla, who was displaced and is now seeking refuge at a displacement site.
To respond to the growing needs as more women like Jawaher and Adla are displaced, we are reaching tens of thousands of people with sexual and reproductive health services and violence prevention, mitigation, and response activities thanks to your gifts:
We cannot look away from the unrelenting suffering in Gaza, which is why we’re appealing to you today.
Your emergency gift can make a world of difference to women and girls who have nothing this season. Will you make a tax-deductible donation to deliver lifesaving care to those who need it most around the world?
We condemn the violence in Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, and echo the UN Secretary-General’s call for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas. The suffering must end and peace must prevail.
Thank you for not looking away from this crisis.
