Dear John,
As I reflect on the last year, I am so grateful for you and all our incredible partners with whom we do the important work of uplifting and serving children and families. Thank you for your steadfast commitment to quality, accessible early childhood opportunities for every child in this country.
We hope you take time over the holidays to renew and reset, preparing yourself for success in 2025 and beyond. The early childhood workforce is vital to the success of the ECE field, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with and support you in the New Year.
In the spirit of looking forward, I am sharing a shining example of a state that developed a cross-sector ECE strategy and is now making it a reality. Connecticut is building a strong, cohesive and sustainable early childhood system that can serve as a model for other states and communities.
I hope you’ll read on to hear how they're bringing their vision to life and that it will serve as inspiration for the work you're doing in your own community.
