The holiday season is in full swing, so I took the time to make a wishlist that I’d like to share with you:

1. Spend quality time with my family and friends.
2. Enjoy the holiday lights in our neighborhood and throughout Springfield.
3. Defend our democracy and stand up to Donald Trump’s MAGA agenda.

This year, the holidays feel a bit different and even uncertain – especially knowing that Trump will head back into the White House. So to have a brighter holiday season, we need to band together and defend our democracy from this extremist administration.

It’ll take a big effort, but I believe in our community and the will of the American people who will always fight for a better future.
