A Partnership for Safer, Stronger Communities

As the year winds down, I’m proud to share that we have just received a profound vote of confidence in our work: the NFL has chosen the Law Enforcement Action Partnership (LEAP) as one of its newest Inspire Change grant partners! This partnership reflects the growing recognition that compassionate, community-driven solutions are key to creating safer, more vibrant communities.

This funding will help accelerate the critical expansion of our community responder program, which dispatches unarmed specialists to low-risk 911 calls, providing compassionate responses to crises involving mental health, addiction, homelessness, and more.

While the grant officially begins next year, your support right now is critical. Together, we’re already:

Working with cities to bring community responder programs to more neighborhoods.
Designing a national database to track and compare these programs.
Developing a racial impact study to demonstrate how these programs reduce crime and arrest rates, particularly in communities of color.
