made a difference! December Young Dem of the Month
Congratulations to our December Young Dem of the Month, Jarquiza Ayers! Jarquiza is the Constituent Service Manager for Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman and serves as President of the Burlington County Young Democrats (BCYD). A Rutgers University graduate with a degree in criminal justice, Jarquiza began her professional career at the Congresswoman's office, which represents New Jersey's 12th Congressional District. Based on her contributions, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman nominated Jarquiza to participate in the Congressional Black Caucus Institute Bootcamp (CBCI). This provided her with the necessary tools to make an impact. Her commitment to serving the public has brought about new opportunities, including her role as President of the Burlington County Young Democrats. As BCYD President, Jarquiza aims to create new spaces for young professionals to get involved both professionally and politically. Her dedication to public service earned her a national spot as a 2023 New Jersey Young Democrats delegate for the Young Democrats of America Convention. A proud New Jersey native, Jarquiza is committed to always putting people over politics, ensuring her service is impactful and community-focused. From December 6th-8th, Young Democrats from across the country gathered in Boston, Massachusetts, for the Young Democrats of America (YDA) Winter Meeting hosted by the Young Democrats of Massachusetts (YDMA). We’re grateful to YDMA for their incredible hospitality and for organizing such a meaningful experience. It was a
weekend full of workshops, networking, and action plans for the
upcoming year, and NJYD was proud to be part of it! Special thanks to
the New Jersey Young Democrats who showed up and represented the
Garden State. A highlight for New
