Hi all!

Our next monthly chapter meeting is coming up soon -- it'll be THIS Saturday (December 21) from 1-3 pm. We'll meet in person at the Escalante Multi-Generational Center in Tempe, with a Zoom option for those who prefer to join virtually.

We're hoping to launch our next priority campaign next month, and this will be the meeting where we'll meet, discuss and vote on a campaign proposal. So you won't want to miss it!

We'll also hear updates and discuss our ongoing work around mutual aid, labor solidarity, political education and more.

RSVP and get all the details here!

We also encourage you to join one of our other upcoming events:

  • Our weekly socialist socials are every Tuesday evening - we're meeting tomorrow at Wicked Wolf Glendale (in Westgate) at 7 pm. Make sure you're following us on Instagram to see the location of the social each week, as we rotate around the Valley.
  • There's an emergency national call on Thursday at 6:30 pm for allies and supporters of the Starbucks unionization drive. We were out in Tempe on Saturday canvassing in support of unionizing baristas and Phoenix DSA members will definitely be joining the call - you should too! RSVP here.
  • On Sunday morning, we'll be doing a special holiday edition of our monthly Really Really Free Market. The RRFM is a chance for all of us to share what we no longer need and take what we need or want ?-- feel free to bring clothes, toys, or household goods in good condition, or perishable or non-perishable food. Just don't bring anything you can't carry yourself. At this RRFM, we'll also be offering photography lessons, making Christmas crafts and fixing brake lights. Stop by! It'll be 8 to 11 am on Sunday, December 22 at Daley Park in Tempe.

See you soon!

In solidarity,

Phoenix DSA

PS: Wanting to get more involved in the chapter, but can't make it to an upcoming event? Want to know more about how we work, our priorities and how we make decisions? Sign up for a 1:1 meeting with a Phoenix DSA steering committee and we'll get you plugged in!
